Parents and students:
Upcoming dates and deadlines for students that would like to attend the State conference and compete in events.
State conference dates: March 4th– 8th
Location: Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center
6515 International Dr Orlando, Florida 32819
Cost: conference cost $238.00+ hotel cost $105.00 per night (hotel cost will depends on how many students per room. It will be split)
4 per room total cost $343.00(conference + room)
3 per room total cost $378.00(conference + room)
2 per room total cost $448.00(conference + room)
Includes:4-T-Shirts Breakfast 4Lunch- 3Dinner-3
Due date for conference cost is January 15th, 2019.
Firefighting Competition events:
Bunker gear race
Firefighter agility course
Stair climb
Search and rescue (2 person teams)
There are several events and informative workshops/seminars being planned this year for students to participate in. Students will participate in the student board meetings and have the opportunity to apply for a state student board position.
